Jonah and his wife, Windy, moved to the Goldendale Washington area in 1999, and started their professional photography studio; Rocket Science Photography, in the Fall of 2003, shooting portraits through out the Northwest, weddings Nationwide, as well as school events and commercial work.

Jonah has always had an artistic eye, and a love for photography. He loves working with people, especially students, offering them something fresh and new in portrait photography.
Since opening their studio, Jonah has worked at putting together a body of work for display in galleries, and to be appreciated by fine art enthusiasts.

He has always had the dream of hanging his own Art work on his walls. That dream finally came to fruition in 2006. It has been thrilling as well to see others enjoying his work, and becoming proud owners of it, hanging their favorite peices in their homes.

He has a love for what he calls "Americana", looking for the old and historic, the things that make up the personality of an area, taking pictures of things one might never notice, and turning them into fine art.

Over the course of 2006 he has photographed areas all across the U.S., recent exhibits include work from the Oregon Coast, Antelope Canyon Arizona, the Midwest, The Painted Hills Oregon, and he is now working on an Oriental Art collection.

Jonah's work is currently being shown throughout The Columbia Gorge area. As well his work can be viewed through his on-line gallery at www.jonahgilmore.com.
Jonah and his wife are currently making a move to the San Diego California area, and are very excited about introducing his work to galleries there, as well as Windy's magnetic jewelry, her site is www.healthymagneticjewelry.com.

The Gilmores would love to hear from you. Please contact Jonah if you would like to see more work, or are looking for something unique.
